Casa Loma – A Must-See in Toronto

Oh, so if we select the top five things to see in Toronto, Casa Loma would be one of them. For a general admission ticket for adults, it’s $44. It opens from 9:30 AM to 5 PM at the time of my writing. I read the history inside the castle and learned that Sir Henry Pellatt created the castle because he wanted to have a palace on the hill with a view of Toronto. This palace is now visited each year by over 650,000 people from all over the world! Wish he knew that!

Casa Loma as an Event Venue

So, when I visited Casa Loma, it was also booked for a wedding. I found out that we can rent Casa Loma for special events!

Exploring the Castle – More Than Just a View

Now, moving on, I have shared some of the photos that I took when I visited Casa Loma. At first, I thought it would only be about the castle and the views, but later on, I found that it has so many other things to offer!

Beautifully Designed Bedrooms

You can see the people’s bedrooms and how they are designed. I have provided some pictures with descriptions of what they are so that my readers can already have a firsthand experience and learn what to expect!

The Spiral Staircase and the Breathtaking View

There was a spiral staircase that led to the top of the place. We had to wait in line to go up. The view from there was very beautiful. I guess the best advice would be to try to walk wherever you feel like you haven’t been; otherwise, there’s a possibility that you will miss some of the things that Casa Loma offers.

Museum and Historical Artifacts

There was a museum with actual historical remains, and I have provided some photos from there as well to show what we can expect.

The Fascinating Tunnel Walk

After visiting the castle’s upper portion with all the bedrooms and bathrooms and reading the descriptions of each room, it was time for us to go to the tunnel.

The tunnel picture I have here shows what we saw while walking through. Lots of historical stories and real pictures are depicted in the tunnel, offering so much information about the history of humankind and life on Earth before we were born. I really enjoyed the tunnel walk with so many unknown histories and was grateful to learn about them.

The Backstage Celebrity Gallery

We also saw another gallery with realistic silicone figures of famous people, which Casa Loma calls the “Backstage Celebrity Gallery.” It includes Drake, Chris Evans, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart (X-Men), Jackie Chan (Tuxedo), and many more! It was really nice. There was even a place where you could take a picture and feel like a celebrity—haha.

The Stable and the Short History Movie

We also saw a stable that was built there, which was great. They also played a short movie about the history of Casa Loma. If you feel tired from walking, I would suggest just taking a seat and enjoying the movie to learn more about the history. It was a great break for us, and we enjoyed it.

Casa Loma Escape Room – A Plan for the Next Visit

Now, I know that there is also a Casa Loma escape room available. For our next visit, we want to play the escape room, and I believe it will be a lot of fun! The escape room is available Monday to Friday at 4:30 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, it’s available at 2:30 PM, 4:30 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM. I will definitely play the escape room on my next visit. This was one of the most exciting indoor activities we could do.

Visiting During Family Day Long Weekend

For the Family Day long weekend, I have provided the link here. If someone is interested, they can visit Casa Loma during that weekend! There is also a tea party arranged where people are offered tea, pastries, etc., to enjoy in the castle.
